I'm a gin drinker myself, but my wife prefers vodka. She likes Ketel One.

With tonic and lime, of course.

We've recently discovered Q Tonic, which takes our gin/vodka tonics to a whole new level. You guys should try it if you can find it.

Hmm. I’ll look for the potato version. Sounds good.

As an aside, the notion that vodka made with anything, let alone potato and corn, has to be advertised as gluten-free is ludicrous to me.

Yes! From the people who invented vodka.

I am celiac and I for am thankful for all of the attention that misinformed people who think wheat gluten is bad for normal people. That’s nonsense of course but the growth in new and tasty foods is a blessing to those of us forced “Gluten Free” because of intolerance.
As for Gluten Free Vodka, Celiacs are not the target market here. Almost all spirits are Gluten free because of distillation. It’s marketing aimed at the popularity of “Gluten Free” and people who think they are making healthier choices

Couldn’t agree more - that, indirectly, was the point I was making.

My mother is celiac - diagnosed over 20 years ago, when finding gluten-free foods on a supermarket shelf was virtually impossible. Her sister is also, and we strongly suspect that my maternal grandmother was as well - so I’m well aware of the condition, and deeply suspicious of the current trend of ‘gluten-free’ as a fashion statement.

I hope it never ends I love the variations in pizza that never existed even 5 years ago.
