This is a better version of Landscape (go to 1:33), I don't think they had a good audio set up on the tv show.
The first piece he performs is called Rakuen, which would translate I think to Paradise. After Landscape is some clips of him performing with others

Eucalyptusmint,

Thanks for the heads up on the tutorials! I'm going through the Oasis tab right now so if you wanted to make a vid about that it would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, make sure your nails are well-protected. The stress of his techniques, like the repeated nail attacks and rasgueados wear the nails down pretty well...

Had to freshen up this old post with another youtube of Ieji (The Way Home).

This one is in standard tuning, like Windsong, and Tycho. Again, if anyone wants any tab it would be a pleasure to share it with you!

Hi Lisa,

First of all thanks for sharing. Wind Song was one of the first songs of Kotaro i learned, and i learned and practised it on my classical guitar. Sounded perfect on my Carreras guitar as if the song was originally intended to be composed in a nylon string guitar.

If by any chance you are able to share with me the tabs for "A White Cloud of that Summer" if you have any, that would be greatly appreciated. Good recommendation by rlouie.

I don't have that one pandaroo, but let me see if I can get it! I did not know that Windsong was originally composed for nylon...that just makes so much sense.

The Greven guitar he plays on is so sweet!

Hey guys,
I uploaded a video lesson for A White Cloud of That Summer to YouTube. Hopefully it helps you guys. The technique is a bit tricky.

Here's my cover of it:

Forgive the mistakes, this video was taken after 1 year of guitar :\

If you need the tab, feel free to email either me or Lisa

Actually, it was steel-string. It was originally an orchestral composition he wrote for a documentary on Antarctica, featuring him on guitar. I did my research haha

Experiment and see what works for you. You just described a huge range of tunings there. I'm fine with light strings.
Hard Rain is GGDGGD, You are the Hero is DADGAD.. Mind you, you'll almost never tune down to a G
