Default Blackstone Griddle

Anybody have one? Is it supplemental to a regular BBQ grill or a standalone? What do you like to make on it? Any regrets?

I have a portable 15” that I carry on the boat instead of a grill. Also a larger standing model for home use. Without a doubt they are both money well spent.

I would buy them again today.

Still won’t replace my grill though. I say you need both.

Its an outdoor flattop. It does not replace a grill, but cooking pancakes outdoors on a crisp spring morning is wonderful.

We have a grill and a Blackstone but rarely use the grill anymore. My husband has found so many great things to cook on the griddle that we cook on it about 3 times a week between April and October. The grill just seems like so much trouble anymore. If we want a smoky flavor, I use Liquid Smoke brushed on the meat and don't miss the grill.

Hmm - my Blackstone was an indoor archtop...

My wife's Brother In Law purchased a large Blackstone and has cooked a few meals on it that we enjoyed with them. He then retired his grill.
I will be purchasing a small Blackstone, in lieu of another grill, in the near future.

I bought a 22" one for my RV. Seems they're used with campers as standard issue. I enjoy mine but rarely use it at home. If there was a use for it though I'd pull it out in a second...lots of fun recipes on the Blackstone YT channel.
