Agreed objective reevaluation is necessary for healthy intellectual growth and emotional happiness..... BUT the sad truth is that kind of growth is not an inherent "need' of the human condition. The human condition is also rife with stagnant self delusion and unwillingness to even consider reevaluation and possible change....

Kinda like a lyric I wrote:
"We're all lookin' for some answers tryin' to find some truth ....Or to justify the means we're using ,,to pull us through".

Unfortunately far too many choose the latter course and misbelieve it to be consistent and "on the right path"...
