Here is this fiddle tune written in the 1990s, I believe by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.

Way to go Colin. You picked a great song to work on. The phrasing of this one can be tricky, but worth the work..
There is a great story behind this tune, and you’re right, Jay Unger wrote it. I find it very emotional. you’ve got it going well. Thanks for posting. Roger
