Default Ashokan Farewell - simple instrumental

Here is this fiddle tune written in the 1990s, I believe by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.
I rate myself as a beginner, others have said relative beginner, so beginner I am. Hope you like my effort on a Martin 000X1-AE.

Way to go Colin. You picked a great song to work on. The phrasing of this one can be tricky, but worth the work..

There is a great story behind this tune, and you’re right, Jay Unger wrote it. I find it very emotional. you’ve got it going well.
