"Live" from Maui

So we decided to brave the pandemic and go to Maui for a much needed vacation. While there, *this* happened. I'm the one on the left, who was totally shocked to be asked by one of my mentors to sit in on his second set. I was playing a rented guitar (with no pickup), rather than lugging mine on the plane. With no pickup, we had to mic the guitar and then turn it down to avoid feedback.

Still, it was a real thrill to get that opportunity. Oh, and his name is Kevin Brown, a highly regarded Hawaiian Slack Key master player.
