Default BSG J31F Cocobolo/Spruce - Mp3īs Added

Hey,

last wednesday I finally got my newest custombuilt - a BSG J31F built by Jan Stovicek and would like to share some pictures with you.
The specs are:

- Alpine Spruce top
- Cocobolo back and sides
- Flamed Maple Bindings
- Ebony Fretboard
- Mahogany Neck
- 45mm Neck
- 57mm string spacing at bridge
- Abalone Rosette
- Gotoh Tuners
- B-Band A2.2 Pickup-system

Needless to say I am totally thrilled with this guitar. It is very balanced with sparkling bell-like highs and a very nice clear bass. The sustain is endless. It plays like butter. I hope to post some Mp3s maybe next weak.

Thanks, guys. I have turned into a Coco-lover , too. What amazes me is how responsive the guitar is....and i am curious how it will sound when it has opened up more. I also have the same model with a cedar-top (2 years and has been played a lot) - sounds a little warmer with less sparkling .

Very nicely done Olli...that is a beautiful Coco, and a creamy top. Very clean craftsmanship...how does she sound?

@ Karl : War jedenfalls sehr interessannt....und habe die unterschiedlichsten Meinungen von Gitarrenbauern kennengelernt. Woher bist Du - dein Deutsch ist sehr gut !

@hnuuhiwa:

How does she sound....very good ;-) ...very balanced with a clear bass...BSGs generally sound warm in comparison to f.e. a Taylor or a Lakewood....but with a more sparkling topend then a Martin...and orchestral. I measured the sustain the other day - it is about 25 seconds. My cedar topped Coco - BSG has a stronger bass - but that guitars is cannon - but a little less midrange. Hope that makes sense.
