I completely agree. I am a big fan of innovation, design, and new methods for guitar building.

On the APP (Acoustic Parallel Plate) there are several holes cut by laser. There are also some round ones on the hidden side that don't go through ... kind of looks like a honeycomb (except they are circular).

Kevin, I hope I get a chance to see your 12-string ... I'll have to visit the Ryans ... I haven't seen anything of mine yet.

You'd better go down soon if you want to see it Mary. Kevin just said he thinks it'll be done in around 3 weeks. If you do make it there, you have my full blessings to give it a test run.

I like how the binding and bevel appear to be seamless. Looks great.

Kevin builds such cool guitars. Today in fact, I just sent off my Ryan Brazilian Grand Concert to Larry Robinson to inlay markers on it.

I didn't notice the seams on the bevel for a couple years ... but I also wasn't looking for them. I just noticed them when I was taking some photographs.

I can't believe how much flame and curl is in this set of koa. Even on the sides. Can't wait to see it in person, and play that first open G chord.
