I know for a "fact" that an elevator arrives at your floor 4.7 times faster if you push the call button 5 or 6 more times... so maybe? LOL

I hope their launch doesn't hit any snags and it goes well for them. It will be a big test meeting the apparent demand. I just want to play one or two as I've never even seen a Lowden in my neck of the woods.

I dont get it. Do people buy these signature instruments because they want to
sound like the artist whos getting paid to put thier name on it.
Thats like staying in trump tower because i want to be a millionaire.

Did millions of people buy Air Jordan shoes because they wanted to play basketball like Michael Jordan did? I'm sure some did. But I get a feeling most of them just wanted something associated with Jordan. And there's no shame in that.

Ask all the people who bought the Martin OOO-28EC.

In this case, many are considering it because they see it as a low cost Lowden. And that is what it is really.

The Sheeran name might be a bonus - or something you can live with.

Speaking for myself and a few other guitarists I know, the interest is more about what a Lowden in this price range will sound/play/look like, not about Sheeran's name is on it.

Yes, the people on this forum who are interested in the Sheeran are looking at it as a low cost Lowden. Me too, I had tried a few Lowdens and they are something special. The first time I tried the Lowden s23, the one the Sheeran is based on, I thought it was special. When I went back a couple of days later, I thought it was annoying. It made me give up on the Sheeran's. I'll go check them out when they ever do arrive, but I'm not excited about them anymore.

Ditto for me.

Exactly the reason, I ordered one.

I would even be more happy, if they left their logo on the top and only signed it by Ed Sheeran on the inside.

There might be a market for some stickers, too. ;-)

I mean he is a great musician and I also enjoy listen and play some songs, but I can see, how I don’t want an artists name on my guitar in the coming years.

I don't know where you got this information from, but it comes as no surprise to me!

I was just at the factory last week, they are releasing in September, all preorder fulfilled and then each dealer will get a few extras to sell off the floor. they said the demand on preorders has been way higher than expected so they will be fulfilling orders for a long time.

I played the prototypes, they are good guitars. I have two lowdens currently, I would probably pick up one of these once they circulate the used market.

That was just a summary of the no information since the original delivery dates past for months. And even regarding the new September information (thanks for that!) I’ll prepare for 2020, just for precaution.
