All together now.....”K&K!!”.

The usual disclaimers apply......IMHO, YMMV etc.

Yup, like yer man says ' K&K, easy to install, no invasive work apart from an endpin jack.

Can be used without a pre-amp, into a good p.a, but better with an external preamp.

Well I surely don't think K&Ks are non-invasive. That superglue that's left behind from the un-install which I did in all of my K&K guitars was quite a pain to remove so that I could use other SBTs!

I’ll second the Schatten HFN passive. No super glue, just tape or putty to install it.

I used the supplied peel n stick pads and they worked excellent. You can use the putty instead but not necessary in my case. That pickup is magic in my Goodall. Best $100 I ever spent on musical gear.

I used the tape as well and installed it myself. Took 15 min and sounds great. I connect it to a Red-Eye preamp with a Keeley 30ms in the loop and it sounds really good. My band-mates were blown away at how good it sounded.
