Default Logic Pro X update info.

I'm currently working my way through David Nahmani's "Logic Pro X, Professional Music Production" lesson book. Without belabouring my own missteps, I discovered that a couple of snags were the result of "obsolete" info and omissions in the text. In the authors defence, new Apple operating systems
are at least partly responsible. There is an updated PDF online that addresses these issues. For anyone else encountering these problems with Logic Pro X I'm including the link for the updates with this post.

i bought his book with logic 8 and found it really helped me to learn logic. it makes you apply the knowledge immediately.

note that they also have a logic forum and david responds to a lot of the questions that are posed.

Couldn't agree more with your observation that David Nahmani's book is great for "applying the knowledge" right away. I particularly like the illustrated, step by step approach. Where I got snagged was the blinking record-enable button and more problematically, the omission about clicking the I button on the track header to use headphones for input monitoring. These are, no doubt, simple issues with simple solutions for the recording literate crowd but for old, digital-recording illiterates like me they're yet another part of the learning curve. BTW - thanks for the problem-solving link. Much appreciated!
