The ABW looks great! A lot darker than my ABW guitar. And I do like the sapwood as a contrast.

Looking forward to more posts from you.
Thank you colins!!!!

Very nice! Do you have any first-person experience with a guitar from this builder?
I actually think about ordering a japanese steelstring as well.
A couple of days ago I happened to play a Asturias Grand Solo guitar (cedar/rosewood) and liked it very much.
There is a bevel version as well (Grand Solo Premio) and I‘m really tempted to head for a custom build of that.

Well Lars, glad to answer your question. If you are interested in Japan Luthiers, then Hiramitsu can become one of your interest as he is amongst the best in Japan. The sound is unique as in it has an effect of 'acoustic boom'. Its like the sounds are compressed in the sound hole for little bit and comes out altogether. Maybe you can refer to some sports car's sound when it reaches certain Rev, it roars, but for this guitar is easy to reach that Rev. His best model is SJ with Spruce/Rosewood, agreed by a Japanese Musician called Gin. His waiting list is around 1-2 year so it maybe a downside for you. For Asturias, I may have played it before but I cannot recall how it was like, maybe the waiting time is shorter. Both of them should not be very pricy.

Best,
Max
