Default 1940s/1950s Lifton Gibson Hardshell Case

Original Lifton hardshell case from what seems like the late 40s or early 50s. Gibson style brown leatherette covering in great overall condition considering its age. Interior is very clean as well, with the original lining still intact in all areas. Original handle and handle rings are solid, and all four original latches work as they should. A few of the original case studs are missing, but I haven't felt the need to install replacements. They're relatively inexpensive should you decide to install some. I glued and clamped down some of the ply where it had delaminated in the headstock area, and it's holding up quite well.

This would make a fine pairing with a period Gibson J-45/J-50, or Southern Jumbo. I believe it fits an ES-175 as well.
