If it's my backyard or a neighbor's, with no risk of drunken revelry, wild dogs or rambunctious children, then any guitar. If it's truly a camping trip, or when risks are greater in general, then my GS Mini Mahogany goes. It sounds great, is easily portable, and pretty darn tough. Plus, I can go buy another just like it if it gets destroyed.

I bought a brand new Martin 000X1AE with hard case for $375 a couple of months ago for taking in the RV, campfire, etc without worry. It is a nice guitar and very durable (HPL body, Stratabond neck, and solid Spruce top) compared to my Blueridge.

A Zager - you conveniently throw it on the campfire when you're done playing.

My first “decent” guitar is my camping guitar. It’s a La Patrie from the early 90s. Perfectly serviceable for camping and I love that I don’t have to worry about it. The top is coming off the rim, however. That may spell the end.

What is your campfire guitar?
This thread justifies the need for a campfire guitar vs taking a 4 K guitar outside[emoji848][emoji15]

I take my Klos for anything where I'm seriously concerned my Furch Little Jane if I think it is outside but low risk.
I had a Rainsong ch parlor for a while and that would be just about perfect. |
