Default Schaller Butterbean Tuner Adjustments

Hi all,

I just got a new guitar last week with Schaller Butterbeans. I've used these before with no issue, but this batch has a few tuners that are really tight when tuning. Is there a way to adjust the tuning tension? If not, I'll be looking for a direct replacement.

Thanks!

Contact Schaller directly. They'll send you new ones. I'm on my 3rd set on a brand new Martin I bought in 2019. They won't ask for any receipts. I'm not a fan. When they go bad they either get tight or loose. Or sometimes they rattle.

I gave this a try and got a response from the owner in 15 minutes promising a new set. They certainly have customer service nailed down. Hopefully I'll have better luck.

Thanks!

Yes I wasn’t happy they died but they were great with offering replacements.
