Default String suggestions for Godin Doyle Dykes Multiac?

Hello Everyone,

I just picked up a Godin Doyle Dykes Multiac and it's near perfect for my needs. The only issue is that the D and G strings are hard to hear even with the bass and treble sliders down.

Can anyone recommend me some strings that have more definition/clarity, maybe even something that allows the mids to pop out a bit more? I'm currently running the stock Godin A6LT strings and figured I would ask before spending a bunch of money experimenting.

Thanks.

I have one of those guitars and I like D'Addario Nickel Bronze a lot.

I asked Doyle and he told me that uses his signature GHS phosphor bronze set on his and I gave them a try since I use them on another vintage guitar.

I like them a lot so that's what I use on mine. Strings and Beyond has a good price on them.
