I am definitely guilty of buying Martins and Taylors just for the cosmetic look and reputation of the brands. lol

Default purchase sight unseen

Sure did. Once bought a Taylor GS Mini sight unseen. Like Christmas morning when I opened the box.

Default F7 online buy great

Just bought cordoba f7 online - a lot better than I expected - considerably better actually. Strung it with low tension black la bellas and with the low action it flies and rasps.

The last guitar I played before buying it was in 1971. Fifty years later, I still have it. and 29 I bought on looks/name alone.

You know, there is a reason many guitars have a rep. That has to be earned.

I would never buy a guitar without trying it first and absolutely never buy one just for the headstock badge.

The Bedell in my signature and all 8 of the Breedloves I've purchased, except an inexpensive Passport model.

Never been disappointed.
