2008 Taylor 110 - What is it made from?
I have a 2008 Taylor 110. I believe it has a sitka spruce top and laminate back and sides... I'm not sure though... Do any of you know what this specific model and year (2008 Taylor 110) is made from? Any info or links would be appreciated. Thank you!
By the way, this Taylor 110 sounds amazing! |

Taylor customer service is pretty good about giving info regarding any of their guitars - whether you bought it new or as used. Shoot them an email with the serial number and see what you find out! |

Taylor's website also has good info under their series tab. It says the 100 series is layered Walnut.

2008 110 will be Sitka Spruce top with Sapele Laminate back and sides.
For reference you can go to Taylor’s in-house magazine Wood & Steel Summer 2008 (Vol.56) p.26 where it lists the whole Dreadnought lineup for that year. Many issues of Wood & Steel are on Taylor’s website but they are not as easily found as they used to be. I do have a pdf copy on a cloud storage drive which I could link if you really have to see it for yourself but it might take me a while to find it. Regards, Clive. |
