That picture struck a chord with me... back in the late 70s I used
to go to an industrial park on Rutherford Road in Greenville, SC
and buy strings from a gruff man named Ty Boling. Gary, my Brother-In-Law,
a musician, told me about the place. It was filled with guitars, very
special guitars according to Gary. I can barely find any mention of Ty
Boling with google now, a couple of hits in the classified section of a 1970
edition of The Greenville News, but you have to be a subscriber to click on them...

I guess it is a long-shot to wonder if anyone here ever heard of Ty Boling?
