Default NGD: Furch Blue Masters Choice Gc-CM Plus

Long name....but she is lovely. Been looking for a nice cedar over hog for awhile. The tone is exactly what I have wanted very balanced and dark but warm. Love love love it. The fit and finish is up there with the best. What impresses me most is how it feels to play. Super comfortable. Perfectly set up. No complaints at all. It has the LR Baggs Stagepro barn door controls on the top which I usually hate but I plugged it into a loudbox Mini....jaw dropping. plus the built int tuner is nice.

I will be DEFINITELY looking to add another Furch to my stable down the road. Maybe a green or yellow series OM.

Congratulations! Not sure if your last two photos were just stock ones you looked up on the web or if it's the exact guitar you purchased. If it's the latter, I know the shop you bought it from and it's a great operation. I bought both of my Santa Cruz OMs and my H&D TD-R from them, driving 2 hours both directions.

That's a beautiful looking instrument in a wood combination that is very interesting to me. How do you plan to use it? Open tunings, fingerstyle?

Very nice, enjoy it forever.

I'd like to try a few of the Furch line of guitars.

It’s the actual guitar. Shop photos from where I bought it in SD. I really like the open pore satin finish on the B&S. For a change...a juxtaposition, if you will, against my other nitro finished giits.

Yeah. I am a 98% fingerstyle player so this is right in my wheel house. I haven’t even touched it with a pick yet so I don’t even know what it sounds like that way. I’m sure it’s great that way as well. I have quite the fingernails so my finger strum is pretty pick like and it sounded great. It came with elixir 12-53 PBs.....I am not an elixir fan because the coating always comes off quickly on the d and g strings for me...I’ll leave them on until that happens. Then I’ll put on some other uncoated pbs.

Nice! I would love to try one of those out myself, but no place anywhere near me has them.

The woodier sound of the satin finish has me curious. I'm pretty much set on getting the Yellow Plus though.
