Default New Alvarez fan

Last spring I purchased a AC 65 HCE (nylon crossover). I’d been searching for a crossover that played easy and sounded OK. I had previously had a Yamaha NTX and a Taylor 214 ceN. With my crappy ear this Alvarez out performed them both. A couple of weeks ago, I traded off a couple of my least favorite guitars for a Blues51e/TSB. It is last years model with laminated rosewood back and sides vs the walnut spec this year. It has become my go to guitar unless I’m playing something better suited to nylon, then I pull out the crossover.

I must say these two Alvarez’ play, and have tone that is exceptional. I would wholeheartedly recommend Alvarez to anyone looking for a reasonably priced guitar. Just my $.02

The Alvarez Artist Series Baritone I bought from MF's Stupid Deal of the Day is the best $300 bucks I have spent on an instrument.

All the Artist series punch well above their cost IMHO.

Oh no, not another one! If we keep getting all these new Alvarez fans learning about the quality of these guitars with their very competitive prices, they'll soon be putting the prices up.

Maybe all us Alvarez lovers should start a new thread titled, Alvarez guitars are garbage.

Glad you found it and are enjoying it.
