UPDATE!

It's been a couple of weeks as I have moved to Courtenay, BC. It's beautiful here but the chaos has meant I haven't been updating the thread. Here we go!

First Fred finished the bevel and scoop with wenge:

And worked on the neck:

And now the woodwork is mostly done - on to finishing!

Having had the pleasure to meet Fred and commissioned builds, I found that title so funny, 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I’ll be following this thread with great intererest. Congrats TK ! Fred built me 3 fantastic guitars and I bet this one will be a joy for you to play.

Thanks JFC!!

It's been a while since my last update - not much to report other than the finishing is almost done. Fred sent a few pics today and my, the guitar looks fantastic. The woods are really starting to pop - the top, rosette and maddy are insane good looking!

Well the guitar is done! That long finishing period is over. The guitar looks absolutely fantastic and will be in my home next week!

Here's some gratuitous pics!

Thanks Tim! Hope you and Mary are well. I have good memories of the various McJams.
