I look forward to seeing more of this.

Back and sides should look pretty under finish.

You're going to love it, Trevor. Tom is making some remarkable guitars. It looks like it's coming along nicely too. I'm going to enjoy watching this thread! Mine makes me smile every time I play it.

Kindly,
Danny

Nice Trevor! It's great that you are doing well so that we get to see all of these great builds as they pass along the path from builder to you to the new owners!

Thanks for posting - I'll follow this one with high interest..

That rosewood is gorgeous! Looks a lot like the Madagascar rosewood (Dalbergia baronii) that LMI was selling back in 2002-2003. It also resembles exceedingly fine Brazilian.
I'm quite looking forward to seeing this guitar being built.

Sorry I'm just commenting on this thread, I have been very busy. Thanks everyone for the comments it's greatly appreciate. I have never built with Sacha Rosewood before and I'm looking forward to hearing it. It sounds promising to me as the tap tone was good.

I REALLY like the back and sides on this guitar. Pretty set of wood! What will the bindings be?

Thanks Joel! Have you built any guitars with Sacha? The binding are going to be the tried and true ebony. For me ebony is hard to beat.

Tom,

I love the overall look, and your cutaway is really elegant. Curious about the Sacha Rosewood...other than the very cool look, does it sound like EIR or does it have a sound that is distinctively its own?

Thanks for sharing!!

Mike

Nope, never built with Sacha, but I'm intrigued. Yeah, you can never go wrong with ebony. It's going to be a stunner!
