Default This cat can sing.

Steve March-Torme, Mel's son and a local resident. I have seen him in concert several times. He is also a jock on a local radio station, with a great knowledge of all forms of music.

I don't think I can embed these, so here's a link to his website. Listen to the first two, for sure.

Looking at the title of the topic I thought it was going to be about a kitty (the meowing type). Kind of dissapointed!

True, but Steve is the son of Mel and his first wife Candy Tockstein, who divorced when Steve was real young. He had very little contact with Mel until he was grown.

He's capable of sounding like Mel, but he rarely does.

My dad was a big Mel Torme fan and I became one as well. I think it's cool that his son lives in the area, is so talented and I have lots of opportunities to see him. He is very involved in music, but really doesn't perform all that much.
