Wow! Thanks for updating us on this wonderful guitar build. It is looking fabulous. I love your aesthetic choices on this one. I am bummed that I will not be in Santa Barbara to play it in person. I sure appreciate you taking the time to contribute here so I can get an experience of your work.

Best,
Jayne

Here's a couple more photos before she heads off to the spray booth. The finishing process is very rewarding for me. I have always done my own finishing. Recently, my finishing process has become less cumbersome thanks to my dear friend Joe White. He has been very gracious and helpful...Thanks Joe!

Sorry bout the focus issue on this one...I need a new camera!

Now Playing...Michael Whalen "My Secret Heart" A must hear for piano lovers!

Thank you! I am looking forward to connecting with you and all the others here on the AGF at SB.

Here's a few shots of the guitar in the spray booth...

Thanks for looking!

What time I was not in the spray booth, I listened to George Winston various tracks.

Finally! Here are some photos of the finished guitar. I love the way it turned out both cosmetically and tonally. Here are a few of the specs...

SX body style (15.25 at the lower bout) The SX is the second offering in my new "S" series. Details coming to my website soon!
Madagascar Rosewood back and sides
Torrefied Italian Spruce top
African Blackwood binding
BRW and Spalted Maple Rosette and Bevel
13 fret to body
25.1 Scale length (This scale is incredibly comfortable and powerful)
Ebony Fingerboard and Bridge

Thanks for looking. I will have this guitar and a couple others at the SBAIC. Please come by my table and say hello, I would really like to meet you!

What a fabulous instrument! This one gets my vote as the most visually appealing guitar I've seen on the forum in a long while (which in no way denigrates any of the other amazing instruments featured hereabouts!).

It's lovely. The spalted maple looks excellent. Makes me want to buy tickets last minute for SBAIC...
