Game 7 with two former Cy Young pitches starting. Going to be a great game - Go Nationals!

This is a taut series, for sure.

Gurriel leads off bottom of the 2nd with a solo shot to the left field seats.
Leave runners on 2nd and 3rd.
Astros up 1-0 going to top of 3rd.

What next?

Next is a homerun by Rendon to narrow it to 2-1.

Next it's the 2-run homer by Kendrick to go ahead at 3-2

Man, next year, I'm not sure my team would want home field if they make it to the WS.

Congrats to the Nationals! Did anyone see all the Bryce Harper trolling going on?

Wow! What a great World Series !
Zack Greinke was fabulous... I knew that was going to be the kiss of death removing him as quickly as they did....
Those Nationals are scrappers and they deserved the win.
How ironic that all the wins were done in the visitors ballpark...

They're in for tough competition with the Dolphins and Jets!

Anyone think the Astro's coach brought in the wrong pitcher (Harris) to replace Greinke? The coach had mentioned he would bring in Cole if such a situation arose but then didn't.

Well, I admit it is easy to second guess and manage from the bleachers but to answer your question... YEP.

I was thinking cole would be held til after Harris and Osuna leaving him in position to pitch into extra innings if needed. That’s what looked like played out too. Easy to play Monday morning QB and it might have worked out better, however, I would not have been surprised to see Cole pitch more like he had pitched at the end of his start than like his usual lights out self. Osuna came in and was pretty ineffective last night too. If I were questioning strategy over the last few innings, I would question why Altuve wasn’t stealing when they had the lead. The Astros look like they have the potential for a dynasty even tho they lost the series and are apparently expected to lose Cole to free agency.
