Default Prudencio Saez Brazilian Model 138

It was with mixed excitement that I examined and played and tapped and questioned, until I pulled the trigger and exchanged cash for a 1989 model 138 (5-PS) in very good condition. I still can't believe it's solid Brazilian Rosewood and 35 years old! Let me know what you think.

What I think?

Lucky dawg.

I haven’t played that particular model but I do own a Sáez flamenca negra and have found it to be an excellent value. I’ve been hunting for a Sáez cedar classical for a long time with no success.

I know, eh? I have no idea its value, but I was vibrating while testing it, waiting for the penny to drop. All indications are so far that it is genuine. Don't pinch me!

I had a G9 (2-M) solid Cedar over solid Indian Rosewood I just sold yesterday. Neither of mine are purpose built for Flamenco, but the 138 is set up for it with a lowered saddle and full golpeador.

I'm hunting for a used Modelo 28 (now called the 3-M).

I lost a chance to snag one a year ago.
