Default Looking for general music education lessons online

Any pointers on a good general music education website? Something like Truefire but not tied to specific instruments.

I was reading a bio of Eddie Lang and the music education he recieved in school as a child. Singing scales , learning site reading , clapping out rythyms, and having this instruction young and as a prerequisite to picking up an instrument.

Does this exist online?

If you have the time and if you have a community college nearby that can be a great resource. Sign up for music theory 1. Truefire is great if you do the annual membership. You can take any and all of the courses and they have frequent sales on the annual price.
