Actually, yes I do! My D18 is called "My D18", my D35 is called "My D35", my F50R is called "My F50" (I drop the R), etc. So, I'll say (affectionately), I'm going to play "My D18." It makes me warm all over.

That's all of the names so far. My wife can identify them if I say Black Betty,instead of Martin OMCXAE.

One of the enjoyable things about adding a new instrument to the family is naming it. My latest purchase I named "Roadkill" as it's a bit of a bashed up scrap-o-caster.

Some of the names I give are fun, like "Racklesnatch" and others have meaning like "Fridah".
