Beautiful instrument!

Will be interested to get your impressions over time. I hope to acquire one of these in the coming year...

Thanks for posting!

Richard Hoover + Eric Skye x Cocobolo = Brilliance
That's a cure for G.A.S.

Wowza. That's easily one of the most beautiful I've seen yet. The top looks great. The headstock overlay looks just like my prototype with it's lighter red color. And the back is far and away one of the very nicest straight grained cocos. I know they come with SCGC "lights" strings, but I personally recommend the "mids" for sure. Have fun, e

Thanks Eric for the compliments. The strings it came with were DR Dragonskin 11-50's. I had the same thought that you need at least 12's on it so I'm encouraged by first impressions with these lighter coated DR strings (never tried them but have had good results with DR Rares). I have some SCGC strings on the way and I'm going to try some EJ16's and (my personal favorite) a set of Thomastik Infeld Plectrums. Hope to record some samples this weekend.

Thanks Bob. Still hitting it hard and heavy on Mark Hanson material (currently working on Dedicated to Mississippi John Hurt and Flier). Hope it's going well for you.

That looks fantastic. Of the Santa Cruz guitar models I haven't yet been able to try, that's the one that really stands out.

Play it in good health.
