Theater/Concert Stage Solo Acoustic Miking??

Hi Folks,

Are there any professional sound men reading this who have experience in miking a solo acoustic resonator act in Theatre/Concert kind of venues?

Say somebody like the late, great Bob Brozman. I've watched a number of his concerts from around the world and seldom do I see mics. I know he sold Highlander transducers on his website. I tried one about 12 years ago and I hated it!
Are there 'overheads' we don't see in these videos? I have a pair of km84s but those are for more studio than live yes/no???
