Trust me, I've owned the Pavan TP-30 on two different occasions and it is a wonderful instrument equal to some others priced much higher. Tom is a luthier who hand builds his own line of instruments as well as an importer of fine Spanish made instruments . He provides the top wood from his supply and the guitars are built according to his specifications. He is a joy to work with and will never sell you a guitar that isn't right. I'd buy from him anytime.

to answer the OPs direct question, I wind up the two "E" strings to the inside specifically to avoid string contact at the points you indicate. I do this on my James Goodall classical as well.

I live in the States and recently purchased a Cordoba c 10 (cedar). It's a wonderful instrument with a loud bass. I play it every night and I'm always surprised by it's tone and playability.

I own a C9 cedar top and have been very happy with it. I played a C10 but preferred the tone of the C9.

Love my Cordoba C10 Parlor. It's cedar over rosewood, and my go to of all my nylon string guitars.
