2015 GIBSON SOUTHERN JUMBO SPECIAL 12 FRET - NO LONGER FOR SALE
This Gibson is NO LONGER FOR SALE - cant do it. Finally came to my senses !
Up for sale is my beautiful 2015 Gibson Custom Shop Southern Jumbo Special 12 Fret. This is a pretty rare and limited beast, Gibson only made 65 of these guitars. Even more rare, is actually seeing one for sale. I purchased it new and am the original owner. This guitar is in excellent condition. There are no dings, dents, cracks. The only issue is a very slight bit of hanger rash on the back of the neck/headstock area from the dealer. You can barely see it, and you cant feel it at all. I never noticed this, until someone pointed it out to me. You can see this in the last photo. Other than that, just the typical polish swrills. I do apologize for my bad photography skills, the photos do not do this beauty it's proper justice. This guitar has an awesome tone. Very Gibsonesque, very warm, with full deep bass, those wonderful Gibson mids and very nice highs. Has plenty of volume, depth and is just a whole lot of fun to play. It's seems to be able to deliver just about everything you want, and will give you back exactly what you put into it. Just a very sweet instrument. I did replace the tusk saddle and plastic pins with a bone saddle and bone pins. Nice little upgrade to enhance the tone even more. I also removed the pickguard, it looks so much better. The pickguard is included and is in great re-installable condition.Comes with the original hardshell case. Price is $2250 which includes insured shipping and Paypal (family & friends) Here is the Reverb link to Photos: https://reverb.com/item/7710953-gibs...-2015-sunburst Below are some of the features : Adirondack Red Spruce Top Mahogany Back and Sides Vintage Sunburst Nitrocellulose Finish Traditional X-Scalloped Bracing Bone Nut, Saddle, Bridge Pins Vintage Style Gotoh Tuners with White Buttons 12 Fret to the Body Construction Mahogany Neck Rosewood Fretboard & Bridge Mother of Pearl Parallelogram Inlays Nut Width 1.725" 12" Fretboard Radius 19 Frets Multi-Ply Binding Gibson Hardshell Case Last edited by brijas99; 01-16-2018 at 09:42 AM. |

I had one of these. The most fun I've ever had playing a Gibson. The speed neck and narrow spacing made me sell it, but they play extremely well and have that nice thumpy sound. Great for cowboy strumming, but takes to a thumbpick so well. Nice clear voice. Because of the bridge placement, it played easier for me, as I prefer to play close to the bridge for treble emphasis. GREAT Gibson here
