TV Audio to Bluetooth Transmitter?
My Samsung tv is about 4 years old and only allows one pair of wireless headphones to be used at a time.
I want to take an audio signal out of the TV via light pipe, hdmi or even RCA and rout it to a Bluetooth transmitter that can send audio to two or more headphones. I might even add an eq between the TV and the transmitter since most programs seem to have the audio mixed so poorly (surely can't be my 60 year old abused ears right? LOL) Thought I'd consult the masses here before heading down the Google rabbit hole.

I've got a samsung that is older than that and I'm pretty sure it allows you to send signals via bluetooth rather than to the speaker. Check the "speaker selection" settings. Kind of clumsy to get to as I recall, and you have to choose either bluetooth OR speaker.
The reason I'm not sure is that I don't use it. Just enough additional latency to be annoying, as bluetooth has to process on both ends. OK for music, not so much for dialog. My cable company already has significant problems with synchronizing audio and video, so I don't need more. In any case, unless I dreamed it, you might be able to do it already with your current TV. |

Yes, currently I can send to one bluetooth source but not two. My wife and I both use wireless headphones. Apparently, the new smarty pants tv are able to transmit/pair to two bluetooth 'phones.

I have an Anker brand bluetooth transmitter/receiver hooked up to my tv, you can pair two sets of headphones /earbuds, works great.

Thanks! I'll look into the Anker.
