I can’t figure out how to post pictures. I have a ‘42 0-15 that has great bones but has earned how great it is - beat to absolute *****.

Far more importantly, I have the first mahogany-topped Spanish. Martin made ukes after the Hawaiian explosion after the 1915 Pan American exposition. By 1922 they decided to make a mahogany topped Spanish guitar - the first that was offered only in steel string.

Here's my all mahogany Guild D-120 that I picked up used. This guitar is always in CGDGAD, CGDGCD or DADGAD. It's very balanced, has a nice sparkle to the trebles. It's on the Taylor side of the tone number line between Martin and Taylor.

Here's a tune with it. Not the greatest recording but it'll give you an idea of its tone:

Here's my 2015 Martin Dreadnought Jr. This guitar was painstakingly and beautifully refinished with TruOil by the previous owner (Steelvibe). An amazingly rich and resonate sounding smaller guitar.

Martin Custom Shop 000 12 fret. Never been sure what "model" to call it but who cares(?). At first glance it looks like 000-15sm, but it has dove-tail neck joint of the 18's and up, gloss nitro finish, Madi rosewood binding, bridge and fretboard, etc. I do love the tone, both warm and articulate. Second pic is Taylor GS-mini after I removed pickguard, great tone that exceeds what should come out that small body.

Is that soundboard really mahogany?
Did they paint it to look that light?

At the moment I only own one - a 1942 Harmony H165 Stella. About as sassy as it gets.
