Default Tom Brady - your thoughts?

Will Brady stay with New England or go elsewhere? Looks like the new Las Vegas Raiders are interested. Perhaps $60M over 2 years. That makes a lot of sense for the team because it will help sell seats in their new stadium and will probably get them some primetime games on tv.

Your thoughts? Should he stick in NE, go elsewhere? Retire?

He has played in the same system with the same coach for so long, at his age, I can't see him going somewhere with a new system to learn. I think he stays put.

The Chargers before the Raiders, IMO.

I think he stays one more year with the Patriots, then retires.

Gisele wants him in LA, and the Chargers need a QB. They also have good receivers and a ton of cap space.

As a Pats fan, it's hard to imagine seeing him with another team.

But aslo as a TB fan, I can't blame him if he does go.

He's done everything he can to help the team be successful. There are guys that can't tie his shoes that make a lot more than he does.

Between Bellicheck's over lording, and Kraft be the twaddling fool he's become, it's time for Tom Brady to do what's good for Tom and his family.

I'd say it's come to the "enough is enough" threshold.

but we'll see.

He'll stay.

Wherever he might go, the changes necessary for him/them to compete (at a superbowl level), would likely take 2-3 years. Playoffs in 1st yr probably, but that won't wash with him.

We found it interesting that he sold his place in MA, and purchased in lower CT.
Wonder what he's planning?

He stays with the Patriots, which improve over the next few months. Then one last super bowl and a calling it quits speech.

I don't see him starting over somewhere. I think one more run at it with the Pats.

He's accepted less than market for years in exchange for having the best opportunity to win championships. He has multiple rings, it's time to cash in. He's playing the field to extract every last dime from the Pats now as the championship window is closing / has closed in his estimation.

He's not going to finish his career as an aging disappointment for another team and their fans.
