Default Acoustic treatment vs. isolation

I am wondering which will help me get a better acoustic guitar sound. Recording with Rode NT1a into TC Electronic firewire interface into Apple Logic.

I can put up acoustic panels on the walls. Fiberglass insulation inside.

OR, I can create 2 or three movable gobos I can pull together to create a three sided recording space. The gobos would basically be bigger acoustic panels.

Both could work. Can't say which is better as it depends on the room and how many wall panels you are prepared to hang.

The gobos can be positioned on a trial and error basis and can offer good results.

If you are going to "treat" the room it is a good idea to understand the math and science involved to guarantee a good result.
