Default 2 days with my NS24e......

Overall I am very pleased with this guitar. I immediately put some Hannahbach Goldins on it and wow what a difference over the stock strings (They should actually play themselves for the price I paid! lol). My biggest impression of Nylon is now when I go back to play my steel strings it sounds like I am playing inside of a tin can! Its amazing how much bass this Taylor has, I am really digging it so far.

The warmth and bass of Nylon is really amazing. It makes my steel string Taylor sound really clangy!

I agree. My ears have always preferred the warmth and complexity of nylon string guitars. I auditioned a NS24ce late last year. I was impressed with what I heard. I didn't expect to prefer it over a NS34 but I did.

Glad to know you are pleased with your purchase. I look foward to hearing about your first worship service with it.

Hopefully I can break these Hannahbachs in before this Sunday. If so I am going to use it then. I will let you know.

Play my NS24ce through my original 1970 Fender Bronco tube amp - amazing, rich sound - yes, the bass is phenomenal and nylons do have a richness that just isn't there in steel string...however, I still play steel mostly - but do miss that deep, rich bass...I've had my NS24ce for a few months, and it sounds fine to me with the original strings..

Play2praiseHIM.......I was able to use the Taylor in worship today and it was a great success! I had asked several people (who know a thing or two about music) to listen out and tell me what they thought....or if they could even tell a difference and everyone said there was a new depth to the music for sure. I am very pleased with the sound of the crossovers. So much so that I am already dreaming of a higher end model, I got the NS24E sorta as a test subject and I think it has taken root! lol

Wonderful news. I have a feeling that you will be using it more than you originally expected. Adding nylon to the mix is like putting the icing on the cake.
