Default The most sublime cover…

This is as close to perfection as it gets. I’m transfixed by it.

The Sound of Silence - Emma Louise & Husky Gawenda on RocKwiz

Go for it; I wasn’t sure where to post it. But I thought it too good not to share.

Very nice for sure. I can't move it, that's for a moderator. Do check out the Listen section part of the forum. Lots of great listens there.

I'd forgotten how much I like that song.
That version was hauntingly beautiful.
Thanks for sharing!

It's certainly a different take to have a woman's voice on the high melody line. They have a good blend, they sound good together.

10.8 million views on this video. Who knew...

That was just delightful and yes their voices blend so very well...

I am assuming that the video was was just the last performance of much longer concert . Because of the way they ran the credits over the last 1/2 of song
Which to mind was a bit of a disservice to those two kids... but hey since I was not the producer what can I say ?

From what I can tell - it is/was an Australian music show called RocKwiz. And this was the end of show rollout. the female singer makes a separate performance in the show.

I’ve downloaded the ‘Sunday Morning’ album from iTunes. It has the SoS cover; plus some other great covers performed by other artists.

But the SoS is really special :-)
