Default 2021 Arcara D28 w/straight grained Brazilian

This build started in 2020 and was completed in 2021- it has a gorgeous torrefied Adi top and some of the nicest straight grain Brazilian RW that I’ve come across. The guitar is loud, and can handle an extremely heavy picking attack without being overwhelmed- but the most impressive part is how responsive it is with a lighter touch which may have to do with the extremely thin finish. This one is the real deal. Happy to send a sound clip/video to any serious buyers.

Guitar is near mint with only the most minor play wear. Asking $9,000 plus shipping

Not looking for trades here. I just went under contract for a new home and I’m just looking to raise cash.

I'm guessing many are wondering what the specs are - just basics like nut width, saddle spacing, scale length, neck profile. Will go a long way to helping your sale.

The nut width is 1 3/4", and the spacing at the saddle is 2 5/16", Waverly Tuners, bone end pins, nut and saddle, two way truss rod, thin finish option which is a $500 add on.

The neck isn't quite as big as a 37' D28 authentic, but it's a nice full size vintage V style. Full Martin D-28 scale length....This is a HOSS

I just snagged the Arcara OM 28 over in Marketplace under "for sale". Adi top and Amazon RW. It's a wonderful instrument!

The only Arcara guitars I’ve ever checked out were top notch.

Matt is the best kept secret in the guitar world. Chances are that Brazilian is from Slobad’s stash. They share a shop together in Portland.

He’s definitely under the radar.

I wonder how much Matt and John bounce ideas off each other…both amazing.

Matt’s build list is out over a year. And I know that all the builders in that shop share ideas. I have quite a few of Matt’s guitars, and he does all the work on them. He lives a few towns over from me.
