That's funny, a local Craigs list has a pedal train with a bunch of pedals and I'm tempted to make an offer on a few with the board. I made offers on some in the past and just bought new because the seller seemed unreasonable wanting near retail on used electronics.

BTW, he wants $50 on the board alone.

Pedal Train boards are expensive. There are other ones on Amazon that are less expensive and you have multiple sizes you can order (small, medium, large, etc).

Most power supplies will work fine with most pedals.

You want to check:

Voltage- 5, 9, 12 are common

Polarity- most are “tip negative” and graphically depicted near the jack

mAh supply- this can be an issue with larger, dsp pedals (think Strymon). They often exceed the supply of the less expensive wall wart supplies.

You pay more money for more mAh (to supply big pedals or multiple), component quality, and filtered current (no hum).

If youre putting together a board, its probably worth the cost to go with a quality supply. For 1-3 analog pedals, a $20 wart should be fine.

[QUOTE=Dru Edwards;7028813]Pedal Train boards are expensive.

Pedaltrain boards are expensive?

I use TrailerTrash Pedalboards. Multiple sizes over the years.

A 30x18 bare board before accessories with case is $400. US.

I guess Pedaltrain is right there when pairing with tour case.

If you are touring, Price is more than worth it.

With the most pro look you're gonna find.

Cool, got it together and looks pretty clean. This wouldn't work with the Boss supply daisy chain so the One Spot is a better choice.

Also look at CIOKS power supplies. I use one with a Beat Buddy, Aeros Looper and a Line6 HX Stomp. A Y cable powers the Stomp which draws more current than the other pedals.

My Boss CE-2 runs on 12 volts so the older ones might be different. I have a dedicated power supply now but for many many years I ran a daisy chain off of the tuner and never had a problem with noise.

In fact the only reason why I got a dedicated power supply is becasue I learned that daisy chains are 'supposed' to be noisy LOL. But mine never was. They work great if all your pedal requirements are the same and then you don't have a big power supply on your board.

Well there is always "more to it "

That said yes there are several decent Power Supplies (depending on your budget.) That can be purchased on Amazon from about $30-$40 -and up

Donner - https://www.amazon.com/Donner-Guitar...xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
To One spot @ $139 to Voodo $300

I used a Donner up until I went full boat modular with Gig Rig
