I just absolutely love that rosette. I can't picture the guitar with anything but gold hardware... I'm not normally a fan of gold, but it seems like it would match the wood hues on this guitar very well. Cameras can lie though.

I'm thinking the same thing about the gold. but then somedays I think chrome. maybe a dark chrome? not sure yet!

I found Jason and Catherine to be thouroughly enjoyable people at HGF. What a great couple. And Jason is so completely sincere about his guitars. I am sure this one is going to be great.

I clicked on this link when you first posted it, but never had time to comment. Some of that time was spent going from one Acoustic Guitar video to the next. It's so cool to hear a quick 5 minutes or so from so many of the luthiers that attended Healdsburg. and even cooler that so many of them are regular posters on here.

2 Things I learned. It's funny how you read people's names over and over and really only say them in your head, just how you think they are pronounced.

I always said to myself Jason Kostal as in "Coast-el" Well seeing the video with Jason I now know its Kostal as in "Cah-stahl"

and I always thought it was Somogyi as in "so-moe-gee" well thankfully Jason also cleared that one up. It's pronounced "So-Mah-gee"

and for the longest time, I thought so-moe-gee was Japanese!

Don't rule out Gotoh Deltas in Cosmo black, with the knobs in any shape other than the stock ones.

Jason just called and said finish on guitar is done we are going with Brazilian bridge to match everything and its a little lighter to allow the top to move a little more freely. really can't wait for this one!

Jason told me that he is putting in like 19 hours into the current guitars!!! Yours must be one of them, Eric!!! The excitement is building up.........
