Sweetwater is all about customer service. What did they say?
Called and got voice mail. Emailed and still waiting to hear. CC'ed Chuck Surack just in case.

Meanwhile, some guy ordered a left handed Taylor and got a Yamaha Trans-Acoustic delivered.

They should send you more candy. I'm sure that will make it right.

Even a left handed model and I would suffer the egregious error in silence! 😁

Tempting as that might be, my conscience wouldn't allow it.

Yes that does stink and it sucks that you have to wait longer for the right guitar. Although of course they will make it right and I’m sure they have too few people filling a still large volume of orders. In the overall scheme of things it could be worse.

Good for you. Someone needs a conscience under the circumstances.

Thank you. I'm sure you're right. First world problems, after all.

I actually edited my first post because I thought it came off as sounding harsh when I didn’t mean it to.

Keep in mind that most companies that are open are operating with reduced staff and many people working from home. Given the circumstances, I personally would cut them some slack. In normal times their customer service is second to none.

No, it was deserved. Actually, I'm the one being harsh. I posted that rant before giving Sweetwater a chance to respond. Disappointment (mostly for my wife, as she was excited) got the best of me.

I'll post an update once Sweetwater gets it figured out, which I'm sure they will.

I think by law you could keep it without legal consequence. So conscience would be the only reason to send it back.

I almost ordered on a guitar from Sweetwater last week. Always had great luck with them and they were really good about taking returns back but after this I’m thinking I’m going to hold off until the cootie pandemic is over with.

Sounds like “left handed taylor”...

Sorry for your bad luck. Ive had 10+ years and more orders than I’ll admit, with no problems. Theyre working remotely, new warehouse, and probably temps and noobies....hope they square with you quickly
