Moran Wasser: 11-string guitar, Chaconne
For comparison, the Chaconne on lute. Note the traditional right hand "thumb-under" picking technique: The iconic performance of Andre Segovia who used the piece to demonstrate that the (classical) guitar was a "serious" instrument on which "serious" music could be played, rather than just as a folk instrument: Last edited by charles Tauber; 05-05-2020 at 02:12 PM. |

Wasser has a number of great videos. Love the big sound and his technique. Makes everything else washed out.
Many wonderful Chaconne performances out there these days. Among those, I really like the ones from Andrea de Vitis, Tengye Zhang, Petra Polackova among others. |

Definitely sounds fuller on the multi-string guitar. An improvement!
