Default SOLD Pending inspection-Old Quarter-Sawn Brazilian build set for sale

EDIT JULY 20th - the set is sold pending inspection and approval.
Thanks to all who inquired and supported this transaction.
I’m truly pleased to say I’m confident this treasured wood will be well utilized and making music soon.

I acquired this Brazilian Rosewood about 10 years ago through a prominent builder who is a friend of mine.
It was in his suppliers "personal stash", and had been stored for decades.

My friend is an expert rebuilder/re-creator of Les Pauls.
His client list would likely impress you.
He bought Brazilian fretboards from a supplier who also had some acoustic sets, and as a favor, sold two of them to my friend.
This is one of those sets.

My point of that background is to establish that this is the good stuff.
Real quarter-sawn Brazillian from long ago.. not the more highly figured "stump wood",
which is to some eyes prettier than this straight grained wood.

This set is large enough to build a Dreadnaught, but I bought it to build a 000.
It was going to be my third build, but frankly, I'm not "good enough" for this wood.
This wood should be handled by a more skilled builder.
Thus I offer it for sale.

$SOLD$ plus actual shipping and fees if any.
I've been around AGF since December 2011, and have made many friends in many transactions.
I also have EBay history, 100% positive, but consider my AGF reputation superior.

There will be a lot of conversations and pictures before any transaction.
I want you to be absolutely sure that this is good for you, and Im sure it's going to the right person who can do it justice.

Thanks for looking.

Have had a number of inquiry's, and have sent out a bunch of pictures to email, but this is still available.

I'm not a photographer, and I'm using my IPad, but will be happy to send any angle or focus you might like.

Very cool set of wood. You may want to list the thickness of the set.

Thanks Carmel, for your kind words.
You are one of those friends I referred to above.

And thanks also to justinwo, for a great idea of including thickness measurements.

Using my aged electronic calipers, and limited skills, here's what I found:

-- the 2 side pieces are consistent with each other at approx 3.8 to 4.1 mm thick, which is about 150 to 160 thousandths.

-- the 2 back pieces are different from each other.. one is thicker than the other.
a) is 3.8 to 4.1 mm, like the sides.
b) is approx 4.7 to 4.9 mm thick, which is about 180 to 190 thousandths.

All pieces would, according to my luthier/mentor, need to be thickness sanded and standardized to around 95-105 thousandths,
depending on the application and build goal, so there's plenty to work with.

More knowledgeable comments are most certainly invited.

There were a number of inquiries early on, but commonly, timing is not quite right.
Many would like to have it, someday, but not right now.
I think I heard variations on that scenario four times.

Anyway, I’m in no hurry and have “met” some cool folks.
Funny how guitars, and guitar wood, can build bridges and open doors.
