Cobra Kai season VI. I'm an 80s kid. It's kinda corny, but then really so were the 80s.

Not proud of it, but I'm working my way through all 13 seasons of Archer on Netflix. Absolutely no redeeming value, but hilarious as hell.

I just watched The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The movie is 'based on true events' and the main character was said to be the inspiration for Ian Fleming's Bond character. The movie is based on the 2014 book Churchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII by Damien Lewis

It was VERY Hollywood, but entertaining none the less.

I enjoyed this. Apparently, his kindness and grace were incredible. The part where he was supposed to get fired from The Producers was interesting. Mel Brooks said he would, never did, and by the time he told the higher-ups it was too late and they said "okay," was great.

Such a shame that Gilda died at 42. She was a treasure.

Rewatching all of "Billions" before I get to the last two seasons, which I have not seen.

I've just finished watching the 2024 series of 'Rebus'.

Based on the books by Ian Rankin, Scottish detective John Rebus is based in Edinburgh.

Excellent, gritty crime drama.

It looks like in the US, I'd have to get a VPN (which I've heard is a good idea, anyway). I can access the 2000 series of 4 seasons. Any opinion on that?

I've been enjoying British stuff lately, including The Bodyguard, Line of Duty, and Happy Valley.

There have been 2 different Rebus series before this new 2024 version.

One with Ken Stott and one with John Hanna ... the Stott version was the better of those ... but I liked this new version even more.

I can't wait for season 2 of The Old Man. It's been two years since season 1 ended. The first two episodes premier on FX Sept 12th, then streams on Hulu the next day. After that, one episode per week.

If you subscribe to Apple TV, "Lessons in Chemistry" is an awesome series. Well deserving of its 10 or so Emmy nominations. Top-notch acting, and the 50s and 60s sets are exactly like I remember.

I'm into episode 3 of Lessons in Chemistry now and really like it. Brie is great and I like Lewis Pullman. I remember him as "Bob" on Top Gun: Maverick.
