So wonderful! I'm sure you all are enjoying every minute with those gorgeous instruments! What a gift to the AGF community! One day I'll make it back.

In the meantime, I'll pull out my Wilborn and Urlacher guitars and think of you all-

Have a great weekend!

.. a last one from me while everyone is packing up...

Christie Lenee playing a Kinnaird 12-string... I think I don't exaggerate if I say she liked it ;o)

She and Tony ripped 2 performances off yesterday that just made everyone's jaw drop - even more ... lucky to have been there.

Once more a wonderful and heartwarming experience to spend time with like-minded and friendly humans, surrounded by immensely gifted artists (both building and performing ones), extraordinary guitars & music, chatter, good vibes & mood, and a good amount of pixie dust to weave it all together.. the world needs more of that!

Wholehearted thanks to all making this such a memorable experience again,

especially to Kathy and Tom

who once more opened their home to a bunch of guitar geeks for another " best yet" !

If I may, I will definitely come to the next one again !

What an outstanding event!

As someone who is travelling a long way for this and coming alone I can highly recommend.

I felt highly welcomed, met some new friends and some great luthiers. Kathy and Tom out did themselves in hosting again. Amazing guitars and on top of that some amazing live performances.

Oh and there may have been a little something extra special for me that deserves its own post which I will do when I get home.

I had not heard Christie before this show and now I am a very large fan. Her performance was nothing short of mesmerizing and ad lib jamming with Tony was over the top.

As I was driving to the airport I was listening to Jimmy Buffett. One of the songs he has left behind came on that will forever resonate with me:

Tonight I Just Need My Guitar https://youtu.be/FR8r8YOhxJ8?si=WK0i9RlLn4rrgI7z

Thanks again for all who made this happen. Certainly my most memorable guitar show ever!

Wow, what a weekend, am exhausted and I think we may have broken Kathy. I have her in a sensory deprivation tank right now...I am thinking 24 hours may do the trick LOL.

Thank you Lonzo for the pictures. I am sure videos will be posting soon as almost every camera in the room was filming the concerts. All 3 were amazing in their own unique way, Tony McManus, Frog and Toad, and Christie Lenee (and Tony plus Christie).

I will post more later when I can think straight, but most importantly, thank you all for coming to the biggest B.I.G. yet, and probably the best yet. One particular fellow had a very special weekend!

Just got home after the 8 hour drive from BIG and Iím still buzzing over meeting so many new friends. The concerts last night were just incredible especially when you can almost reach out and touch the performers.

Iíve been to two Tommy E camps and one Swannanoa Guitar Week and while I thoroughly enjoyed all three, BIG topped them all. The intimacy you experience with new friends, the luthiers, and the guest artists just canít be matched.

Thank you so much Tom and Kathy for letting us into your home. Iíll be back next year!
