pbe, another great scene and line. Nope, sorry. More obscure than that.

Thanks for playing. Keep trying!

BTW, I just noticed: This contest is reserved for AGF Charter Members and above, not Registered Members. This is per AGF Guidelines, with which I agree and fully support. I hope you will consider upgrading to a Charter Membership for a mere $25 a year. What a bargain for the greatest acoustic forum on the Net.

CHARTER MEMBERS ONLY.
Folks, please remember that, per AGF official official guidelines, AGF members must be at the Charter Membership level to participate in any and all giveaways and contests.

Thanks!
Scott

Rob Reiner was originally going to play a role as a 4th member of the band (not including the various drummers), but decided not to because he didn't look good in spandex?

I didn’t realize my membership had lapsed... I just renewed... I rose above it because I’m a professional, right?

pbe, thanks. Hope I didn't come off too harsh.

Love the rejoinder. I would just add, "But I keep folding and folding. And I don't want THIS."

thanks so much for renewing your Charter status.

Keep playing!

Dude, that is a GREAT piece of trivia. Really? Where'd you hear that? I LOVE it! Gonna have to stash that one away for a couple years for another SP trivia thing.

Sorry, no, but great nonetheless.

Saw a CSN show shortly after the movie release and Nash was playing Cathedral on the piano and they lowered a stonehenge piece onto the piano - he was laughing so hard, he couldn't continue the song.

Oh, that's hilarious. Sounds like they pranked him good. They must've come into the venue early and had the crew set it up above the piano. Love it.

BTW, if you ever make it out to Norm's Rare Guitars in Tarzana, they have one of the original Stonehenge props in their store. The "It Goes to 11" scene was filmed in one of the rear display rooms in Norm's first store (now relocated). They forgot to remove one of the price tags from the guitars before the shoot, so Chris Guess, master improv that he is, just riffed on the tag on the spot when he saw it there. "No, you've seen enough of that one."

Need more guesses, folks!

Liam Gallagher from Oasis went to see Spinal Tap live.
The guys opened as the folk group from 'A Mighty Wind'.

Liam hated it.

"But they're the same actors as Spinal Tap!"

"WHAT!"

Liam stormed off, he always thought Spinal Tap were real.

Funny. Another great story, Bruce.

Truth be told, I like WAITING FOR GUFFMAN just a smidge more, and not too many people have seen that one. Just wonderful, sweet, and hilarious.

Thanks, Bruce!
