Yamaha NO. 60 NIPPON GAKKI classical guitar
A good friend of mine passed away a couple of years ago and his wife gave me his old guitar. It was an old Yamaha classical (NO. 60 NIPPON GAKKI).
I let it sit in its soft shell case till today when I strung it up with a new set of strings (2 of the strings that had been on it were broken). I didn't have high expectations - wasn't sure it would actually be playable - but it plays and sounds remarkably good! You can tell its an old guitar from the wear & tear on it, but no damage, the neck and body are in great shape. The Serial Number is 89826, but I can't find the year it was made by searching so far online. I'm keeping it in my mom's room in her assisted living facility so I can play for her when I visit each day. Last edited by 815C; 11-27-2021 at 11:35 AM. |

That’s a great idea [emoji362]. Nice looking instrument. Put to excellent use!
