Thanks Mary. It is indeed.

Carving the heel and neck.

The front and back in the white just before she left for the finisher.

Jason tells me it left for the finisher last week. We may get some photos of the guitar while it cures soon. He says we are still on track for a Texas unveiling!

Although the lighting is not the best, we can definitely get a sense of this guitar with finish applied.

I especially love the back and the end graft details. Jason does such beautiful work.

Best,
Jayne

I have it on very good authority that you are very likely to see it and play it at an event you're attending!!!

Man, oh man.....I wish I didn't have gigs come up around the time the show is happening, it would be such a treat to hear this beauty. Has to be in the top 10 nicest guitars I've seen/heard of as far as tonewood combo and aesthetic. Enjoy the guitar in good health man!

Egad!
I get queasy looking in on custom builds (as I may never justify owning one), and as a professional visual artist and teacher, the incredible builders we get to see here at AGF is like a visit to a beautiful gallery. Jason's design aesthetic is one that really resonates with me. The combinations of this build remind me of many different types of chocolate being enjoyed while in a cathedral (the ABW, binding, etc. and that rosette)--two of my favorite things to explore!
You are a very fortunate man, who has very good taste in guitars, Cigarfan.

This is a major gorgeous build Dennis. Fingers crossed that Jason finishes it in time to see it at the B.I.G. event.
